Ingredients
- 2 cups coarsely grated Gruyere (6oz)
- 1/2 cup chopped chives
- 10 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
Instructions
- Move the oven rack to the middle of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees.
- Grease a 2 quart baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- Evenly sprinkle the Gruyere and chives over the bottom of the dish.
- Put the eggs, milk, cream cheese, nutmeg, salt and pepper in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the cheese and chives and baked for 35 to 45 minutes, or until set and golden.
